I am a lawyer. I have been working in an LPO in Mumbai. I have the skills and resources to start my own LPO on a small scale. Wish to know how to market Indian lawyers potential as a cheap back office provider?

A LPO can be started on a very small scale at your home also.
It is well recomended to develop intial contacts through resources like internet and friends.
An marketing strategy should be developed to target the customers.
Initially focus on a particular field like trademarks, copyright or patents.
Not necessary you should be able to do all of the given work but get it done through some one else professionally since it will increase your repute of completing the target.
Accepting all the assigmnets given and getting the done will generate turn-over but not income. Since turn-over will only give you the repute for your future development rather than considering the initial gains.
as the turn over will increase the repute will also increase and the you will get the calls automatically.
It really needs a patience of 3-4 years.
Anothe strategy for faster growth of this business is to employ a marketing person for it who can roam arround and fetch some projects but it again depends on you funds that you are putting in.
But I wonder what else do you have in your mind about the same.
