On the controversial topic of outsourcing my opinion is very simple: outsourcing is bad. A lot of people would argue that my opinion is wrong or that I don’t know “all the facts”, and maybe they are right but I don’t care. Outsourcing jobs is ruining the economy of the United States and destroying the lives of millions of people. Why should we allow outsourcing to continue in our country? What is really doing for our country aside from filling the fat wallet of “big business”.
Outsourcing is still only at its beginning phase. In years to come technology will become more advanced, business’ will learn more about exporting and the current outsourcing statistic numbers will be to high to even imagine. According to http://jobs.lovetoknow.com/Facts_and_Figures_on_Outsourcing job loss due to outsourcing is expected to reach 3,320,213 by 2015. That figure is just an estimate; imagine how high it will be if technology continues to grow at the rate it is moving.
The main reason business are m
moving jobs out of the country is to cut the cost of paying employees. In the world we live in its hard to compete with $ 2 dollars an hour. Employers are trying to save their companies by moving jobs to other countries where minimum wage can mean less than a dollar a week, however what is going to save those businesses when all the jobs in the US are being done by people in third world countries? No one will have money to pay those businesses to do the job they are working to do. Their businesses will collapse and eventually our economy with them. When you call tech you more often than not get someone on the phone who speaks broken English if any English at all. The language barriers are something that can be very problematic when it comes to businesses like Microsoft. If they outsource all their tech jobs to people out of the US then we may have some serious problems. When you move jobs that involve dealing with people you are moving said job over by at least 12 time zones. That alon
That along with the language barrier can cause some bugs in the program.
Take our community for a very great example for why outsourcing is HORRIBLE. So many people lost their jobs due to the Electrolux job outsourcing. One of my friends mothers has been unemployed since then and continues to struggle. How can I sit by and say that outsourcing is a wonderful thing that is helping when the truth is that anyone who thinks that is wrong. I don’t mean to offend anyone, everyone is entitled to their own opinion however I know mine is right.
Labor laws, wage laws, and tax laws do they mean by this that the laws are like crappy so it helps them?
idk why its not letting me i tried on my bigger comp but nottin. anyways im almost done that last site you gave me really put me over the edge. thanks SO SO SO much for the time and research you put into this just to help me. you rock and are a great person and TOTALLY deserver best best most rocking answer. thank you very much
